Once upon a time in a lively neighborhood named Pleasantville, there lived a quirky, fun-loving dad named Don. Now, Don was no ordinary dad. He was the reigning champ of the neighborhood when it came to dad jokes. Kids would gather around Don, as if he were a campfire, eager to hear the latest corny joke he had to offer.
“Where do you get all these jokes, Don?” a tiny voice in the crowd would ask every now and then. With a twinkle in his eye, Don would simply reply, “Well kiddo, they all come from a special place – my Dad-a-base!” ????️
The kids would laugh and cheer, their eyes wide with amusement. “Dad-a-base, Dad-a-base!” they would chant, making it the highlight of their day.
One sunny afternoon, Don’s son, Timmy, asked him, “Dad, can I see your Dad-a-base? I want to learn a joke to tell my friends at school.”
Don chuckled and ruffled Timmy’s hair. “Sure, Timmy, but you must know, the Dad-a-base isn’t like a regular database. It’s not on a computer or in a book. It’s right here,” he said, pointing to his heart and then to his head. “It’s every moment I spend with you, every smile, every laugh we share – that’s where I store my jokes.”
Timmy looked puzzled, then laughed, “So, the dad jokes come from the love you have for us?”
“Exactly, Timmy!” Don replied, “Every dad joke is just another way of saying I love you. And that’s the best joke a dad can make.”
